Ronaldo’s Sister Elma Criticises Portugal: ‘They Don’t Deserve to Be the Best’

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, Elma, has publicly slammed Portugal following her brother’s decision to leave the national team camp on Wednesday.

In a message on Instagram, Elma insisted that Portugal does not deserve the best at anything.

“CR7 deserved more respect. The national team deserved more structure,” she wrote last night.
“Portuguese journalism deserved more competence and less speculation.

“As for the Portuguese people, well… they don’t deserve to have the best at anything. We are envious, disdainful, and ignorant.”

Ronaldo has since returned to Madrid and will not play for Portugal in their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Denmark and Norway.
